Party Keg Progress (or lack of)

2 August, 2008 · Leave a Comment

As you will have seen on my previous blog, I have embarked on the production of a home brew party keg manufactured from a Bunnings garden sprayer :)

A couple of weeks ago, this was going quite well, with all the bits and pieces installed. I filled up with air from a pump to see how things would go….well not so good, I had a slow leak from somewhere.

Today I decided to have another go, and realised the leak was coming from the bulkhead fitting at the top of the sprayer. For some reason this does not come with a rubber seal, so I stole one from the garden hose out the back, and it fits perfectly :)

I’m pretty comfortable we should have a good seal and will test this afternoon to see how it goes…
